koan: That is the most interesting logic I have ever seen.

koan: <<Yes, and it is all of the red that is destroying this country.

roadwalker: <<So you blame the voters?>>

koan: Yes, absolutely I blame the voters!

roadwalker: <<With a little introspection you might instead blame the liberals and/or Democrats. If, as you claim, their message is more truthful and better for the country, then why so much red in the South and Western states? Should be easy to convince them to vote blue.>>

koan: "No it is not easy to convince the red states about the validity of liberal ideas. Liberals believe in gay marriage, are pro choice, believe in gun control, evolution, global warming, higher taxes, integration, affirmative action, recycling, modest living, and are mostly secular humanist's.

How are you going to convince the folks in the red states to embrace those values?

Why do you think LBJ said to the dems "we have just lost the south for a generation" after the liberals forced the 1964 civil rights act?

Think about that.

roadwalker <<Your side is obviously losing the battle in parts of the country. Seems like it would be more productive to figure out a way to win those voters, rather than insult them.>>

We liberals have been losing the battle since Socrates. Progressives are always swimming against the tide until history catches up to them. You cannot win the red states over very easily. That has been my whole point.

Not until they embrace education. To be blunt.
