I periodically check reports in EETimes, among others. Though QCOM has a strong position in processors and baseband chips, I expected they would be far more dominant by this time, given their huge IP. Part of the problem is not QCOM's fault but is caused by reluctance of some manufacturers to use QCOM chips (e.g., Nokia, which is learning the hard way).
