Yup. It was pretty predictable, given the state of the economy.

Just like the Republican over-reach when they won was predictable. Now the backlash is building. Granted, the Republicans can realize it and mend their ways, thus saving 2012. But it isn't in their character. They think it will make them look weak. No, their first impulse will be to double-down and try to brazen it out.

Which means they will lose the House.
