Art, sorry the wireless world has not developed on your schedule, nor on Qualcomm's. I understand what it's like getting old, and wanting to see things happen on my schedule, rather than its own. You are viewing through dark glasses, and will find negativity pervasive within. Put your money in the bank, and preserve your depreciating dollars. I'm sure those who own CSCO and NOK wished they had. It's a tough world out there. Cover up. Anyways, we now know the new end date is October 21, so what's the difference?

I also acknowledge that QCOM now has more than 50% of the market for WCDMA chips.

Seems like you just lost your own argument with that acknowledgement, Art. Though Q's WCDMA market share is not at 50% yet, it is likely to be in the near future, combined with 95% of CDMA. I'm damn happy with that, myself. The stock has been frustrating since Feb., when everyone was talking like 60s was a given, and questioning when 70s and whether 80s. That's actually when I sold a lot of it, but still have a bunch on the table, and long term, I am very comfortable continuing to own this stock. When tech folks talk internet, they talk mobile. When they talk computers, they talk mobile. It is so obvious to me that we are just at the start of a huge growth spell for mobile. I bet right now that Qualcomm exceeds 15% revenue growth annually for the next several years.
