This is the approach they've chosen. I recently read the "short" on bin Laden by Chris Hitchens, who is the one liberal I can think of I have absolute respect for. The guy is refreshing. Just the facts as he sees them, but presented in a fairly inarguable way. And zero partisanship. These guys on TV -- and I would include Hannity and Beck -- look foolish compared with brilliant intellectuals like Hitchens and Buckley. I haven't read anything other than Hitchens' column by him in a while. It really made me realize just how crude and irrelevant all these talkers really are. Then, Schultz making this remark today -- that was just the icing on the cake.
