yeah, GOLD is sunk for at least 18 months ! The Japanese market is in a 15 year decline.( 8 years left). More of the same.

Were you selling the metals in '80 when they peaked, or buying underpriced stocks in '82 at the bottom?

Just asking.

Otherwise your advice to buy INTC and the ludicrously overpriced MSFT doesn't mean much. Lots of people say similar things. Likely, they will be wrong too.

In '80-'82 they said "buy metals, they will always go up". "Stocks are only for dopes".

So we've come full circle and now the metals will never go up again, right?

I was there in '80-'82 and telling people to buy stocks, utilities, and US Treasuries. I started buying metals the last couple of weeks and am almost entirely out of the stock market. Early? Probably.

Your advice now reminds me of the goldbugs back then.

I'd rather be early.
