Paul, the short-term picture of the market is going to be choppy. Next week's decisions on whether to devalue the Taiwanese and Korean currencies will be critical to the Japanese Yen (which by almost all standards of measurements is at an extremely critical level), which in turn has major implications on the U.S. stock market......Larry Wachtel of Prudential Securities said on Friday "At some point, it will be like one big margin call. They'll have to repatriate assets currently invested in U.S. stocks and bonds.".....Along with the Iraqi situation, look for, well, a high degree of uncertainty next week (options exp. also). I'm not so sure I would even be buying DELL at this point....George
