The disproportionate distribution of Obamacare waivers to hoity-toity restaurants and clubs in Pelosi's district is an obvious example of political favoritism. Everyone realizes it. But it's good to see Democrats like CJ etc bending over backwards to defend naked cronyism. It tells everyone what the Democratic party is all about.

The cronyism in Obamacare waivers, the NLRB decision that told Boeing it couldn't build a new plant in So Carolina, the screwing of GM and Chrysler bondholders for the benefit of the UAW .... show that Democrats are like the pigs in Orwell's Animal Farm (All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal).

Brumar, I just thought of something.

CJ is arguing in support of ObamaCare waivers (after he denied that it happened, LOL) on the assumption that those getting the waivers offer benefits that "exceed the standard."

So let's apply that to K-12 education. I hear private schools offer education that "exceed the standard," yet Democrats are against vouchers.

If you wait long enough, a liberal will contradict himself every single time. (tm Stevie)
