I can't remember hearing of any MS levees failing.

I recall they did not rebuild all of the damaged levees and other flood control devices from 1999. Just tore them down or left them alone. But that is recalling news that may be years older then the couple of years that I think it is.

Some levees have experienced water 'boiling' from below the levee onto the dry side but so far, its been relatively minor.
