The stock is undervalued for all the reasons you named. Turning on the TV will show you that the stock should be fairly valued at least. The real reason that an investor or trader should buy ALR is that the current tension will increase the worldwide demand for this company's products.
In other words, buy ALR because ALR will have better earnings. Chris, ALR will probably be up, back and up again to your 20 dollar target much earlier than you suspect. The stock market disseminates information much too quickly now for simple 6 month targets. All we can really say is, " things look very good for ALR".

Any thoughts on ALR at these levels? It's looking tempting on a technical basis--almost back to the trend line (about $11.50 or so).

Luckily I sold out most of my stock at $15+ mainly due to technicals (top of channel) and fear of a bad reaction to the sequential EPS.

I couldn't bear (no pun intended) to let it all go though. ALR has been too good to me to totally sell out. With Saddam aching to get bombed again (not a question of "if" but "when") we should see a pop from that.

The only reservation I have is the Y-O-Y comps for Q4. Last year was a huge number, one which I doubt we'll beat in '97. Any opinions out there? This thread has been pretty quiet lately.
