Hi freeus,

Depending how long this cycle will go (not very long IMHO) the stock should turn down in the next year or two. Most of my friends work at Boeing. They just said yesterday that there is a new hiring freeze just starting last Friday. Apparently they have been hiring so many people that they are almost out of control. The 747 line restarted Friday after being down for about a month. The other lines were also affected. The parts suppliers can't keep up! No sense hiring if the people are not trained to execute specific jobs!

If world economies slow down and the airlines perceive this then there will be big problems and their will be no orders for awhile. The Asian airlines are Boeings biggest customers right now. If they are affected (INMO they are right now) then we will see a slowdown.

The MD accqusition was a big fish to swallow. I would expect them to fall to the mid to high 30's per share at the bottom of the next cycle and then climb to the 80's or better at its next peak.

This is a great company. But I do not expect them to make a profit for at least a year.

The market sure has been getting interesting! I hope we can all just maintain a long term perspective.

All the best,

Eric
