Tell the rating companies they are running their business wrong.

Why don't you quote the exact statement they made and give a source.

"Knowing their business better than they do" is irrelevant. They have not claimed that cutting entitlements would be considered a default or something that would lower the US's credit rating. The reality is it would solidify our credit rating as it would mean that our fiscal situation was finally under control.
