"This guy loses sight of the forest for the trees just like his dad..." I sort of like Ron. Don't agree with him much, but he at least is loyal to his announced principles. Rand, not so much. Rand doesn't have a lot of choices. He claims to be a loyal follower of Ayn Rand. Yet he also claims to be a devout Christian. Best to occasionally get his freak on, especially if there is no chance of it actually passing, before people start to really question what his principles are. That would be bad for his aspirations.
