Based on the bogus assumption that the front tires will only last about 20k miles without it.

I never rotate my tires. I get at least whatever the tires are rated for on the front.

This is the sort of thing Tim does. He doesn't have the facts, just a set of assumptions. Garbage in, garbage out.
