After that - what is it that causes two educated people to interpret the same facts in a completely opposite manner? As an engineer by education I am cursed by the knowledge that 2 + 2 = 4. When you are a liberal with a legal education - well - they do not even know what the meaning of is is!

Obama also had mentors/handlers who opened the way and pushed him. When he got to the Ill. State House and an old black State congress person saw him and heard him speak he said "I'm gonna make me a Senator"

Ideologically, he is an instinctive statist, what i like to call a "proto-Socialist". He is very consistent in this respect, to the point of appearing inflexible and unable - or unwilling - to learn. Nothing proto about it. College Marxist turned Alinskyite stealth socialist. Read Stanley Kurtz. I agree Obama's intelligent, but it all goes to the con man's art of persuasion. He's too lazy and arrogant to study. (I'm sure getting over without hitting the books was a point of pride to him: President of Harvard Law Review without publishing a single article, who else can say that?) He didn't even study to sell Obamacare, which he cares deeply about.
