Nice people with convincing stories can and do lose lots of money as evidenced by several of the recent posts here (I would add that several of them I have a lot of respect for). SI should be one among several of your research tools. You have to be careful on a lot of these boards because you don't really know anyone - or their motivation (short, long, neutral, ...). It takes a while to filter out the noise and cheerleaders. You are strongly advised to do your own research and do it carefully - and you still might lose money!
