Paul Volker fixed the economy by raising rates, a Keynesian prescription!

No more of a monetarist prescription. The Keynesian derived idea was that we could trade off inflation for unemployment, and not just over the short run. That belief was widely held, Keynesian thought was beginning to dominate, until the stagflation of the 70s.
