This is the weekly update of the Group and SOXM(SOX) tables in terms of earnings estimates and price changes.

Both the Group, SOXM, and SOX are residing at lower levels than earlier this year. This week the Group took another loss of 6.02 while the SOX had a small gain of 0.53 after losing 5.90, 2.71 and 8.39 during the previous 3 weeks.

As noted in the table by (**), AVGO(already a SOX member) replaced ATHR in the SOXM table, and NXPI replaced ATHR in the SOX index this past week.

It is worthwhile noting that while the Group and SOXM(SOX) indices have been retreating somewhat from earlier this year, the earnings estimates, while also are falling a little, are "hanging in there" pretty well. Curr Yr earnings estimate for the Group is at a new high this week, while Next Yr estimate is only down 0.25 from the high point during 4/22. For the SOXM, the number differences are -0.27 and -0.82 from the highs set during the week of 3/4.

Looking at the small table at the bottom, the growth rate for the SOXM has dropped from 13.1 to 12.5.
