I think we're all to blame. 20% of the country's workers were once unionized. Now, that's down to 7% and shrinking. We accepted the corporate demonization of unions, certainly imperfect organizations that didn't help themselves with ties to organized crime and internal corruption.

But, they're the ONLY organizations that stand for the working man and the working man ALONE. There is no other organization that does that.

We NEED them now. The (D) party needs to work for and with them.

In response to the REALITY of your post comes the question where will it end, my broker/George Carlin and i think it ends in BLOODBATH.

i just watched one of Carlins very last interviews, and there was no comedy, it was dead seriouss conversation. CARLIN one need realize was a brilliant man, super intuitive and with prophetic tendencies.

CARLIN was asked specifically where he saw the U.S.A. going, and he said "It is painful to say, but is the only outcome i can see, that being the rich are accelerating their share of the pie at an evermore rapid pace and at the expense of both the middle and lower classes. i can see nothing stopping this but an inevitable BLOODBATH." (edit:not the exact exact words, but damn close:Max)
He gave no winks nor satirical smirk, he was speaking in GRAVE tone, that is with GRAVITAS---starkly serious.
So one of the last things he ever said publicly, is he sees a BLOODBATH ahead.
The worst part of this scenario is it is following the traditional historical pattern, preceding BLOODBATHS--the rich are SKILLFULLY manipulating high tension between the lower classes and The Middle Class--this one of their oldest tricks too and that is as the Middle Class is getting screwed royally by the ultra upper crust, they get the Middle Class to rant against the have nots until they end up with the have nots.
i really have zero sympathy with hard rightwing people that are of the Middle Class as they are the biggest SUCKERS of all, and let's make that a graphic suckers, by naming them Remoras, as they are so utterly stuck on the rich SHARKS they defend.
