These newest Tablets that will be unvieled at Computex ...not one of these companies have yet got it, imo . They're more powerful , faster & more utility than iPads perhaps but where's the "flash n style" of the iPad ?

You'd think by now that they would get how important image n style/branding is with that "sleek & high tech" look that has made AAPL all along so beyond appealing & beyond anyone's reach virtually unassailable .

( or like what Toyota did yrs ago with incredible appealing styling & the most beautiful high tech looking light refelector assemblies on their lexus line that set them years ahead of any competition, vaulting them to #1 in the world...which of course now everyone has copied )

The very number one thing is an emblem or powerful logo that has the strong allusion to power & speed & grace & beauty & knowledge & wisdom & being "connected to everything" which is what these amazing devices do in setting us free . How about an embossed fierce & beautiful "Dragon" in relief on the back fascia is one that comes quickly to mind . Now that would be something the Asians would all love ...how hard to just add that bit of branding & styling ? Not very and they're all missing it ,

( the Dragon would be perfect logo for its Asian mythology is
based around devastating power, strength & speed )

Like DELL when all they could could come up with for years were ambiguous looking drab square black boxes that hinted at being "door stops". It was always so easy to make something set apart that was sleak , rounded, smooth & graceful...something to walk around & show off .

I like my Dragon logo , motorola is so square they'll never get it ....maybe Samsung has a little clue . The RIMM playbook actually does have some style but so far behind . Not a bad ad campaign but easily tiring .
