"They are plenty of Democrats who oppose any change"

Like who, Tim? You have a tendency to spout things and wave your hands without anything like proof. When it should be pretty easy to prove, it makes it seem like you are just spouting hot air.

But, I will help you out to this extent. They very may be a few who are on record with that viewpoint. Most haven't said anything one way or another, despite voting for the ACA which does have some cost containment measures. So they, by their votes, have come down on the side of containing costs.

"There are others who only support changes that increase government spending like Obamacare."

There you go again.

BY increasing coverage, spending does increase. What a revelation! But there are important cost containment measures in the ACA, which you are trying your best to ignore. And the Republicans used it against them in the 2010 elections. Par for the course for you.
