Pretty swift karma for the Taliban thugs for destroying those Buddha statues wasn't it ? Only 6mos later they're mostly turned into sand, dust & hollow martyrs ....maybe they should just have left well enough alone ? Amazed to this day that people caught up in all the other events following 9/11 that no-one caught the irony & timing of the fall of the Taliban happening so swiftly after commiting this atrocity to human heritage & history . That really was the beginning of the end of them for many eyes were focussed on the Taliban thugs internationally after that . And the Moghul Islamic invasions of India ? That goes down as one of the worlds great ongoing Holocuasts that lasted centuries & countless millions (12-20mil?) of Hindus were slaughtered by these jhiadic invaders . Only an amazing personage like Gandhi could barely try to heal & redress the centuries of that oppression that was brought down on India & forced conversions & rule. And the brits too ! So it goes , down to Iran's puppet Amahdenijad & Ayahtollas, the Saud Wahabbis & whats left of the current reigning Islamicists spread about who now have to deal with public revolt & uprisings ....and a modernizing youth that have no jobs . I wish them alot of luck , for if the "Great Satan" goes down , they'll all be canabalising each other , which they do anyways daily .
