I know there was satire involved in your comment, but the plan was to raise fossil fuels to the extent people had to rely on alternative Green fuels. I have a friend who is a Democrat Politician and he assured me at the time that was the plan, although there was not alternative green fuel, they were sure it would just be invented. You know how science is great...except that science just doesn't do what you want. It is governed by laws. Funny thing also to recall is during the formation of all the Obama Czars one was told that an idea wouldn't work due to the laws of that particular science. The response was, "we'll have to change those laws". lol
