>>Andy, I take her at her word that she is a grad student.<<

Sounds like your motto must be the opposite of hers, "trust many." I agree why not take her at her word. Still, I spent many years in grad school and I can tell you the average IQ is nowhere near 150.

>>My question is , What good is intelligence if it doesn't work?<<

Yes, that is really the main point.

>> For example: I do not have a lot of intelligence but I am certain from reading your posts and Henry's posts that you and Henry are different people.<<

As I said, such a deduction does not take a lot of intelligence. (:>) Truthfully, I don't think she really believed we were one person. Just her way of insulting us. Actually, Henry is the one who should feel insulted (:>)

>> I am sure she would not be disingenuous in her posts as she places a very high priority on integrity.<<

Perhaps not intentionally. There may be a good bit of self-deception involved. I think her hostility and bitterness may override her self-proclaimed integrity. As for integrity, I don't doubt for a minute that all of these new negative posters on the thread consider themselves to be persons of great integrity. Very self-righteous types. Holier-than-thou.

>>I am so certain that I am willing to go out on a limb and make a wager. I am willing to bet TWO bottles of wine that you and Henry are indeed different people.<<

You are a brave person. I will be surprised if you can find anyone to take your bet. So, what difference do you discern? (:>)

Regarding searches of the SI data base, the 120 day search works very nicely if you type a key word into the "text only" seclection of the search engine. I have been able to find a number of elusive posts in that fashion. However, you need some fairly uncommon words, like retinoid, Honk Kong, Kaposi's Sarcoma, etc.

Mr. Zeuspaul,

I would have to agree with you that intelligence doesn't always mean a person is smart or that they understand the difference between right and wrong. Hitler was intelligent to move a nation into fascism. Stalin was intelligent enough to know how to manipulate and kill millions of people. Yet, they were not smart enough to know that what they brought onto their countries would eventually spell trouble for them and their fellow countrymen.
I think the best example of intelligence gone to waste is right here in our country. It's the many people who occupy Washington D.C. Many have degrees from the most prestigious universities in the nation, yet the always find a way to screw up everything they touch. Let me also add many teachers and professors that are slowly ruining education in America. Common sense can't be taught.
