Weiner is apparently trying to make the point that the MEDIA should not be focusing on crap like this.

It's an old, old trick, well known back in Lyndon Johnson's day. He'd accuse an opponent of being a same-sex child molester, not because it had any basis in fact, but just to force the asshole to DENY it, and plant DOUBT in all the voter's minds.

Weiner refuses to play the game. Kudos to him!

I'm waiting for some intrepid reporter to ask; "Jon Stewart, who has seen you in a wet swimsuit, says there is NO WAY your penis is that large. Is that the truth?"

Oddly enough, he has said if the picture was of him, it has been enhanced.

Not exactly sure what he meant by that, but the options are pretty limited.
