The Obama disaster continues.

(Reuters) - U.S. government debt prices extended earlier gains on Wednesday after May private-sector jobs data from ADP Employer Services fell well short of market expectations.

U.S. companies added 38,000 jobs in May, ADP said, far below the 175,000 increase predicted by analysts polled by Reuters USADP=ECI. The April increase was revised down to a 177,000 from the originally reported 179,000. For more, see [ID:nEAPA10EH0]

The price on benchmark 10-year notes US10YT=RR last traded up 11/32 from its 3 p.m. close on Tuesday.
