I wonder how many options he has relative to the other players......You know the guy must have some deep in-the-money options.....I think it would be fair to say that the guy has done more than "o.k" over the past 3 years.......

Ernie, thanks for that revelation re MRV being in the Forbes 200 best small companies - WE knew that but now the rest of the world knows what Forbes thinks.

Ummm, I think any time Noam wants a raise he only needs to ask for it. Remember, as with all of these high tech companies, the $$ is in the stock options, not salaries...if done right the maximum tax rate is now 20% for a long term Capital Gain vs what? 39% regular income tax rate? And combined with California's income tax it runs an effective 45.+% on wages...so I think he knows what he's doing regarding the form and substance of his compensation. (we should all be so lucky - but then that's why we've invested in MRVC!)
