Everyone is the perfect trader in hind sight. :) In our dreams we always do the perfect trade. I noticed a lot of the guests on BNN are all over the place in their opinions also. The lack of convict may gives us a buying opportunity for the next rally. I not sure what will constitute a bottom though. A lot of indicators like volume seem to be skewed by ETF trading and the use of synthetic positions. The lack of volume on the indices is down right scary. I noticed they are talking about Chinese investors driving up real estate here in Vancouver. The last time this got some much press it was during the Japanese boom. We all know how that ended. Essentially they ran out of thing to buy with the cash domestically and started to buy foreign assets including real estate to diversify. It did not help though as the cash caused every asset class to retreat in a hurry.
