I don't recall any real Texas horror stories from when I lived there, other than a really huge crowd when I first got my driver's license which I attributed at the time to just typical city lines.

But they all pretty much suffer from ONE illness that just doesn't leave: The multiple employee coffee break which is triggered by long waiting lines.

They subtract the current ticket # from the "NOW SERVING" counter on the wall. If that difference is > 30, it is time for a coffee break.
