So when is a recovery "complete"?

Bottom line is that the New Deal didn't work. Trying to argue that FDR didn't go far enough to prop up a flatlined economy is meaningless.

Besides, all you're doing is backing up Krugman's bogus logic, which is to boost deficit spending even more and/or reduce interest rates to below zero. This is where Keynesian economic theory breaks down, because there's only so much that monetary policy and artifical pumping can do.
