can't help cowboys....but no user describes my I/S strategy as stifling and unconsiderate of users.... my staff is contantly in the plant and offices trying to help users not burdening them with a thermometer system so we know their temperture<ggg> I/S should give users enabling technology and systems so they can kick the competitions a--. But, I'm not trying to make it sound easy..... It takes 2 yrs before a crummy compnay and I/S can start improving profit etc. etc. and 4 yrs to really get there. Putting in an ERP is easy and takes about 2-6 months.... but, an ERP is just a foundation...no compnay ever made money off an ERP.... they all are too dependent of users to key info in and read reports.... all the physcial interfaces need to be changed.
