Half the point of an iPad is to get away from a desk and still do computing. With a keyboard case it's back to the "official computing position".

Seems that for my gal it's not about that. It's about simplicity, size and weight. A keyboard/cover she does not need, or want to carry around.

Say you're a college student who needs the keyboard set up occasionally for writing papers but most of the time the iPad suffices. Something like the Crux that LL posted would be perfect as an all in one solution. I like particularly that as a keyboard setup it enables trackpad functionality to the tablet. Maybe habit but when I use a keyboard I prefer mouse or trackpad to touch maneuvering. Of course, integrated Nuance Dragon Dictation may largely do away with needing any keyboard a lot of the time.
