meathead, 90% of the pc's in my operation will be cpq's and the 10% for software engrs will be high end dells.... WE DON'T HAVE FAILURES . AND CERTAINLY NOT ENOUGH TO HAVE A MONITORING SYSTEM. Accept for shakeout probelms on the Dells when they first go end........harware problems are super rare. failures should be so rare that no system is needed. Your users would much rather have instant repsonse time, Rf data collection, touchscreen data collection, groupware... instead of allot of time on a system to check their tempertures.... this has been my point.. you wouldn't last 4 weeks as a director or VP of I/S...you would be tarred and featured pretty quick<gggg>
