No. The economy was already in recovery with the tax increases. Whether or not the tax cuts affected that is very hard to tease out.

Nonsense. Recoveries are rarely, if ever, a straight line. They are usually somewhat exponential in nature. By the time the tax cuts took effect, the recovery was already on an upwards trajectory.
