Democrats aren't even playing tee-ball. Their front man is a raygun republican who had me fooled for too long. I thought he was a moderate until he made Nixon look progressive. Then I figured it out.

On Hawaii vacation, Obama reads up on Reagan

This is interesting -- Obama is turning up the volume of his argument with what he terms Clinton style "incremental" change, arguing that Ronald Reagan fundamentally changed the direction of America in a way Bill Clinton didn't

That is so true. Where are the dems fighting for jobs? They just keep caving into the right wing. Just today Obama caved into he right wing regarding some wilderness land in the west.

I listened to Cyrsta freeland say that just tonight. People are suering very much and the economy is very dangerous and the dems are doing nothing about jobs. Obama did nothing about real estate. Still hasn't.

We look to be on the precipice of a depression so bad it will affect people like the 1930's did. But in 1930 we owed little money and controlled the world.

Things could get really bad really quickly. One guy, Bernie Sanders, the only one I see ringing the bell.

I am old enough to remember the talk about how horrible the great depression was.

<<The Dems rarely ever play hardball any more...Too bad someone like Lyndon Johnson wasn't running the party or the Senate today...many of the decision makers in the Dem party today have caved in to pressure from the lobbyists and the Hard Right Wing factions have tremendous influence (and often they seem to be better negotiators)...Look how Big Oil, Big Coal, Big Pharma, Wall Street, and the Military Industrial Complex still seem to get their way...Do we really have some comprehensive checks and balances in place...??>>
