They are parroting Weiner's spin ... he wants to save the govt the cost of investigating the crime even though its severely damaging his life. An unbelievable position. Just shows they're in the bag for this prominent Democrat.

Ten, is this even a SCANDAL? How does it compare to Vitter's prostitutes, Larry Craig's toe-tapping for anonymous gay sex in airport pissers, that Forlida (R) who kept chasing male Senate pages, or even Bill Clinton, and on and on?
