Appropo Sadam - I say he is crazy because I am speaking to you in our terms. :) I agree if the coalition is getting weaker, waiting will only make our situation worse. That doesn't mean we're going to start. Would add to the Sadam issue the constant rising power of Islamic fundamentalists, who now officially control Iran Afganistan and parts of the Southern states of the former USSR. Off topic but still on topic - any opnions on Nostradamus predictions?? His writings predict the Islamic expansion which at first made me smile, seveal years ago, but now it kind of made me rethinking, especilly if I bring the Algerian situation into the formula. (they kill each other like crazy - tens of inocent people every day or two) I am intrigued by his writings as a result of some accurate predictions and the present situation in the Middle East, were I do not see how the SADAM problem will be solved and how fundamentalistic Islam will dispear. As it looks at the moment the US is in a EOMF situation. I do not belive that entering Iraq and taking out Sadam will achive a lot, the US let Turkey fight and kill scores of Kurds - which is a major mistake, and let Sadam decimate the tribes in the southern delta, who were mostly pro-Saudis. My 2 cents is that teh US is not welcome in those regions, especialy after recent political blunders, and lack of understanding local politics. The mere fact of taking out Sadam in 1991 and teh failure to support a Kurdish state with a diminished Iraq and some pro Saudi entity in the south, lowered US influence toward nill. The recent slaying of Americans in Pakistan are of substantial importance as Pakistan is considered as far I know, a US friend. Happy trading Haim
