Brazil will be China's Canada. Brazil will ride China coat tails.

Although 17.000 Km apart They will interlock their economies.

“China has a clear position on what it wants from Brazil, but Brazil needs to clarify somehow what it wants from China.”

China accounts for 12.5% of the Brazil annual exports, while the volume of exports from Brazil to China expanded by 18 times between 2000 and 2009.

China first went to Africa for natural resources. But it is tough to deal with negroland.

In 2009, the total influx of China-originated foreign direct investment was still smaller than US$300 million, but this figure surged to US$17 billion in 2010, suddenly making China Brazil’s largest foreign direct investor.

Natural resources in undeveloped countries are indeed a curse, because they prevent those countries from developing what truly makes countries great in the long term, when natural resources are exhausted.
