OT "I am a value guy throughout - no Porsche for me. if I were to go for a Porsche, I'd probably buy a used one." I think you are right. Had too much wine when i posted that. Will keep my miata for awhile longer. Would only get into trouble with a larger engine. (Will prob buy TC back after 30 days.)

OT? - cheap bastards. ;)

I am mostly a value guy. ;)

Never bought a new car (yet). However, I probably won't buy economy class (Civic, Elantra, etc.) though. Mid-level rather: Accord, Camry, Sonata, Altima or Maxima. ;) But only when 97 Camry with 120K+ miles dies... ;) Maybe we'll have good affordable electric cars by then. :P

Kitchen - I need to redo kitchen. Would cost 50K or so. I can't imagine how you can get it done for 10K, ultimate cheapness prize goes to you. Well, I won't do it at all. :) For another 10 years. Until I double or triple that 50K. ;)

If I get rich sometime, I will go for Buffett's "Indefensible" - public air transport sucks royally and even business class does not help when you have to deal with TSA/airline crap/tons of irritated passengers/delays/overlays/etc. Every air trip adds 5-10 points to my blood pressure and removes couple years from my lifespan. F&*k them, Buffett had the right idea. ;)

So yeah, I'm cheap. :)
