Elites on both sides use politics in spades to go for the 'green'. The Israeli factions have become masters of 'heads we win, tails they lose' on multiple angles in the post 9/11 world.. The objective of the elites is always divide the poor uneducated blacks and poor rural uneducated whites to role in the 'green' stuff. The GOP are masters of getting their base to vote against their economic self interest. Back in the 'Gilded Age' a hundred yrs ago the elites pitted the more established western European British/Scottish/Dutch based citizens against the most recent pool of central and eastern European arrivals German/Polish/Italian. In the future the question will be how will elites divide the growing hispanic population and Marco Rubio is the obvious answer..
