Just received an interim update from BI RESEARCH....Its nice to see that Tom Bishop continues to follow the stock and has not given up on FIBR. He reiterates most of the same comments presented on the thread and looks to the 4th quarter. He mentioned positives for the fourth quarter...record backlog, gigamux, IQX, return of OEM's Plus hopefully some positives from all these distribution agreements. IMHO I believe this stock is oversold and has great upside potential with very limited downside....this is poker at its best! Lastly we maybe pleasently surprised at the annual meeting....Novembers results will be known and should be a good indicator for the quarter....I don't know how long Beta-testing goes for but if NASA takes the Gigamux that will drive the stock a few points by itself...Only time will tell.....

I guess I will "miss the ride." But at this point, I can't tell whether that is a ride up or down :)

For what it's worth, I noticed in PC Computing that they have Osicom's 56k PCMCIA modem as their editor's choice. This upcoming earnings report will be very very interesting. Gladue apparently has ($.20) as his estimate for the "substantial loss" as per their warning. When exactly is the earning report for Q3 coming out?

If anyone's interested there's a little article on a new fiber optic line
proposed to be laid underwater between the U.S. and Australia.
There's no mention of FIBR, but it does point to the direction
telecom transmission is going, perhaps? Anyway, for what it's
worth.
