It's a new technology (patents applied for) that requires special equipment and training, so it will take a while to ramp up. Seems very promising, though.

Nice pop for GASFRAC (GFS.TO) today on news that they're expanding into Europe. Maybe LPG frac technology will be the key to opening up that market for unconventional drilling. I can visualize Europeans passing rules to outlaw water fracs while allowing LPG fracs, given the treatment/disposal issues for water...

("GASFRAC") (TSX: GFS.TO - News) are pleased to announce that they have executed a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") to introduce in Europe the reservoir stimulation technology using liquefied petroleum gas (propane or propane-butane mix).
