When you enter the market fresh, no revenue, then innovate a product that grows to 90% of market share.. When the big boy with the pockets with no bottom recognizes your innovation, puts together a similar product, gives it away for nothing, hypes it up, spends millions promoting his product...etc, how would you feel?
I don't see Netscape complaining and blaming others. And I think their products are excellent.

If Netscape did not exist, and Microsoft cought up to the web and put together a browser, you'd be paying for it through the ears. Think of this: is there a microsoft product that is for free AND is one of a kind in the market? to the best of my knowledge: Heck NO. Every product I can think of that's free is becuase there are products from other companies that you have to pay for to get. The free ms product is simply to displace any competition.
If having a world where everything is microsoft makes you happy, then enjoy.
If IE was not for free, it wouldn't have grown to such market share.
In my opinion, Netscape is well and alive, and will be for a long time.
regards

Lewis, your statements lessen your credibility, because you fail to base them on any facts, logic or business acumen.
