The implication from her statement was that the Brits were put on notice that it would not be given up without a fight. Which seems to be precisely what was said. I think the Left has a lot of apologizing to do. Of course, nobody but Fox will call them out on it. But it seems Palin knows more history than any of her critics on this matter. Including you, of course -- perhaps the most ignorant person when it comes to American history I've ever encountered.
