Thanks, trying to nail down a potential problem, Google full of this issue with True Image.

I run Acronis Drive Monitor and after a restored image (Win 7), Drive Monitor came back with a critical error. I had no idea what that was, so I called tech support, gave him the error code and after a while he told me to check Volume Shadow Copy.

I did and it was not started, and was set to manual, so he told me to start it and set to automatic. No errors since then.

I called a computer store and asked him what a brand new computer is set to on their display units.

He said Volume Shadow Copy is *not started*

The mystery continues....
