Irby, I am one of the firm's compliance, sales, and option's principals. You only get yourself in trouble when you mistate the truth or mislead others. I don't recommend stocks or exact strategies since we all know that there is no exacting science about it. Yes, I would be nervous and would not allow any of my other traders or brokers to post on this thread. Because I am the principal and because you and I know that everything I am saying is the truth and sensitive to the understanding of this thread, its if fine. Other firms would definately NOT let their traders/brokers post. As well, since I can't name one other firm that works orders they way we do, and infact most of the online, electronic firms make markets, act as principal or nondiscriminitorily route orders, they have no incentive to tell you this. OLDE is not going to spend an hour explaining how they make 1/8s and 1/4s on your executions as you open your commissionless account. As well, being small mean we can be attentive to customers and keep our efforts in check. Regards, steve@yamner.com
