Weiner beginning on August 13, last year — and they were often exchanged during work hours. In an explicit exchange on March 3 -- the same day he voted on a health care bill in the U.S. House of Representatives -- Weiner bemoaned that he had to end their conversation because he was “off to class.” The casino worker, who said she once worked as a Democratic campaign worker, also claimed she had steamy phone sex with Rep. Weiner -- using a Government telephone. Said Weiss: "After a while I said to Anthony, 'Why are writing these messages when we can just speak?' "I gave him my number and he called me from his office and we proceeded to talk dirty for at least 30 minutes. "A few days later, I tried to call him back on that number. "But the number wouldn't connect to his office; instead there was a recorded message that it was an outgoing U.S. Congress line only." Weiss gave her number to him via Facebook and when Rep. Weiner realized he had missed her call, he sent her a message. He wrote, “How did I miss this chance to rock your world by phone? Give me another chance! Stalk me baby. Very hot.” Weiss said she had attempted to contact Rep. Weiner in the wake of the photo scandal when he posted a photograph, a close-up shot of a his privates cloaked in grey underwear, on Twitter. “I wanted him to know that I had no intention of coming forward and our past was going to be kept hush hush,” Weiss told RadarOnline.com. “But he was a dog and didn’t return my messages. I discovered that Anthony is a bad man... and a liar.” Weiss said she decided to come forward in the past 24 hours after Weiner's "blatant lies." "I knew the truth all along," she said, adding: “I couldn’t believe that Anthony didn’t own up from the outset.” Weiss said she confided about her experiences with just three close friends. A stunning portrait of the pair’s long-time pen pal affair has emerged through a salacious transcript of their sexting – with more than 200 messages! At their height, the pair traded 69 rude messages in one sitting. Weiner used a Facebook account that he later abandoned and among other perverted things, said: * He was a “caped crusader” who was "looking for my sidekick." * Claimed he was “dying of boredom over here. The pair’s relationship began on August 13, 2010, when Weiss sent Rep. Weiner a message to his Facebook account. She wrote, “i am trying to find the wonderful anthony weiner who i feel in love with for yelling at those damn repubs the other day! and uu are funny as hell on the daily show! your friend requests are full..you must friend me! you are awesome!!” In a series of stunning reports that prompted Weiner’s remarkable press conference, RadarOnline.com revealed how Weiner used an unflattering Jewish sexual stereotype to reference oral sex. Scores of the protected birds have been dying each year after colliding with the blades of about 5,000 wind turbines. Now the drive for renewable power sources, such as wind and the sun, being promoted by President Obama and state Governor Jerry Brown has raised fears that the number of newborn golden eagles may not be able to keep pace with the number of turbine fatalities. Not eagle friendly: Scores of Golden Eagles have been dying each year after colliding with the blades of about 5,000 wind turbines The death count along the ridgelines of the Bay Area’s Altamount Pass Wind Resource Area has averaged 67 a year for three decades. The 200ft high turbines, which have been operating since the 1980s, lie in the heart of the grassy canyons that are home to one of the highest densities of nesting golden eagles in the US. ‘It would take 167 pairs of local nesting golden eagles to produce enough young to compensate for their mortality rate related to wind energy production,’ field biologist Doug Bell, manager of East Bay Regional Park District's wildlife programme, told the Los Angeles Times. ‘We only have 60 pairs,’ he added. Nationwide, about 440,000 birds are said to be accidentally killed at wind farms each year, as well as thousands more bats. With the government pushing for more wind energy farms, that statistic is likely to rise. Another recovering species, the California Condor, is also said to be at risk from the giant blades. ‘We taxpayers have spent millions of dollars saving the California condor from extinction,’ Gary George, spokesman for Audubon California, told the Times. ‘How's the public going to feel about wind energy if a condor hits the turbines?’ Newer carbines are said to be less harmful to birds and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has asked power bosses to turn off the wind machines during times of heavy bird migration. But the moves have done little to protect the golden eagles, which weigh about 14 pounds and stand up to 49 inches tall. Their flight behaviour makes it difficult for them to navigate through masses of wind turbine towers, especially when they are easily distracted by prey on the ground. ‘The eagles usually die of blunt-force trauma injuries,’ said Mr Bell. ‘Once, I discovered a wounded golden eagle hobbling through tall grass, about a quarter mile from the turbine blades that had clipped its flight feathers.’ ‘A wind farm owner once told me that if there were no witnesses, it would be impossible to prove a bird had been killed by a wind turbine blade. On June 1, he emailed her: "The key is to have a short, thought out statement that tackles the top line questions and then refer people back to it. Have a couple of iterations of: 'This is silly. Like so many others, I follow Rep. Weiner on Twitter. I don't know him and have never met him. He briefly followed me and sent me a dm saying thank you for the follow. That's it.'" Weiner suggested a nice touch -- some good ol' Southern charm: "And then maybe insert some y'alls in there." On June 2, Weiner sent Lee a proposed statement she could give to the press: "I have nothing to do with the situation involving Rep Weiner. I follow his twitter feed. And for a brief time he followed me. Much has been made of the fact that I have posted about my admiration for Rep Weiner and his politics. All I can say about that is that I'm a fan of his. Rep. Weiner sent me one short direct message thanking me for following him. I have never met Rep. Weiner and he has never sent me anything innappopriate (sic) ..." Weiner then asked Lee directly, "How's it [the proposed statement] feel?"

Some offenders are even closer, permanently residing less than 500 feet away from unwitting parents, educators and children. Along with several colleagues in Congress, we introduced & passed the KIDS (Keeping the Internet Devoid of Sexual Predators) Act of 2007, a bill to require sex offenders to register their e-mail and instant message addresses with the National Sex Offender Registry. The “Kids Act’ implemented one of my six recommendations to keep a closer eye on sex offenders both near school grounds and online. I also proposed stricter GPS tracking of sex offenders, tougher enforcement of registration laws and more public disclosure of sex offender data. Sadly, the Internet is the predator's venue of choice today. We need to update our strategies and our laws to stop these offenders who are a mere click away from our children.
