A IS FOR ATOM

Hi Frank - You may remember the following, which was contained in an Adam Curtis series I posted to another list a few years ago.

The documentary examines the history and development of nuclear power in the US, UK, and USSR. It includes archival footage and commentary from leading actors in engineering, commerce, science and politics. For many, it will recall the heady 50's and 60's when atomic energy starred regularly in Popular Mechanics and supposedly, would power even automobiles and aircraft.

The analysis references the technocracy surrounding the technology, and evasion of moral constraints as it morphed from scientific to commercial implementation. It's about an hour in duration, and well worth the time. Enjoy.
