Downloaded and installed Easeus Todo Free Backup. Ran a file backup of a 44gb C drive to a USB external that took 1 hour / 6 minutes. While a bit slow it wouldn't seem that way if I ever need to restore. Upon checking for critical data it was all there and easily accessible from the external drive.

Have not yet tried to image, but will do so soon. My take so far is that Easeus Todo was more straightforward and simpler than Acronis. Still need to try an image, and also see if I can backup email which is a nice feature in Acronis.

I suppose having both Acronis and Easeus will not be a conflict as long as both are set on a manual start-up.
