A failed restore or recovery is a big hassle to deal with. But for those who don't recover, you don't know if your back up system is working.

For us that use recovery often, we can do almost anything we want to our computers, because we know a back up image will restore us in case of disaster.

Imaging works, as long as your hard drive and back up hard drive are in good working order. Better have more than one back up hard drive too. You don't need 5 like me, 2 is enough.
